Spring is in the air in Chicago! As the grass turns green, so does Alexian Brothers Bonaventure House. With the coming season, Bonaventure House is launching a new initiative called Project Green Kitchen. The goal of Project Green Kitchen is to replace the use of Styrofoam products with reusable plates, bowls, cups and flatware. Bonaventure House provides meals to all of its residents. Given that there can be up to 35 residents living at Bonaventure House, that means a LOT of Styrofoam products get used every day. Styrofoam is not only harmful to the environment, it leads to negative health consequences as well. With your help and the help of other generous donors, we will greatly reduce our impact on the environment by ending our dependence on Styrofoam products. Every dollar raised will go towards purchasing reusable plates, bowls, cups and flatware. As little as $5 buys two bowls or plates or eight cups! Donate today and help Bonaventure House go green!
To donate, visit our Project Green Kitchen Campaign on The Point. For our campaign to work we have to raise $500. Your credit card will only be charged for the amount you donate if we raise $500. All donations are very important in helping us reach this amount! Help ABAM go green – donate today!
